ENGAGEMENT offers several workshops and lectures that are adaptable to the context and needs of your organisation.
This tool facilitates discussion on a number of key topics that play an important role in preventing transgressive behaviour within the cultural sector.
It provides practical tools to approach incidents — which often fall into grey zones — in a more analytical and objective way. The tool offers criteria that can help examine and articulate why something may or may not be acceptable in a given context.
The tool was developed by Sociaal Fonds Podiumkunsten i.c.w. Sensoa, IDEWE, ENGAGEMENT and people from the sector. The tool is also available at [e-learning at the website] (https://onlineleren.podiumkunsten.be/courses/kleurensysteem/) of Sociaal Fonds Podiumkunsten (soon also available in English).
Writing a Code of Conduct is often not an easy task. We would like to get you started with a workshop based on the Toolbox developed by Sociaal Fonds Podiumkunsten. We will work step by step: we ask what your organization needs and how a code of conduct can meet those needs.
Just like everywhere else in society, (unintended) patterns of exclusion can also emerge in meeting contexts. Despite all good intentions, there is often still a meeting culture in which the loudest voice gets the most attention, speaking time is not evenly distributed and some voices are not or barely heard. In this workshop we start from the toolbox Safe(r) meeting culture and finetune the tips and tricks to your organisation.
We have tailored lectures in several artistic contexts, including art education. If you are interested in a lecture to open or deepen the conversation on the topics of sexism, (sexual) harassment and/or power abuse within your organisation, drop us an e-mail.
